My journey to become a yoga instructor began when I took my first yoga class for college credit in 2000. I have always dreamed of teaching yoga - since that first class - so that I could share my love of yoga with others. I didn't know it then, but that was the beginning of a lifelong path of yoga asana and life changes.
Tragedy catapulted me into my asana practice, which brought me deeper into the spiritual aspects of yoga as well. After the unexpected death of my father in 2011, I felt as though I were living in a whirlwind of thoughts, emotions and questions without answers. The only thing I wanted to do, was yoga. A short while later, I signed up for yoga teacher training through The Yoga Loft of Bethlehem.
I am so thankful for the opportunity to teach at Jim Thorpe Yoga & Tamaqua Community Art Center and to be a part of the beautiful community that yoga helps to create and attract! I have studied with wonderful teachers including associate Baptiste vinyasa yoga teacher Linda Zogas, certified Iyengar teacher Holly Walck, certified Iyengar teacher Joan White, E-RYT 200 Maya Kowalcyk and many more wonderful people at The Yoga Loft of Bethlehem and Boundless Yoga in Stroudsburg.
I look forward to sharing my love of yoga, health and wellness with all of you that are interested. Please feel free to conatact me at your convenience if you have any questions or concerns. Namaste.
